Physical therapists work with many types of patients, from infants born with musculoskeletal birth defects, to adults suffering from sciatica or the after- effects of injury, to elderly post-stroke patients.

The goal of Physical Therapy is to make daily tasks and activities easier. For example, it may help with walking, going up and down stairs, or getting in and out of bed.

Physical Therapy can also help with recovery after some surgeries. Your doctor may suggest physical therapy for injuries or long term health problems such as : BACK PAIN, TENDON OR LIGAMENT INJURIES, OSTEOARTHRITIS, RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, COPD, SPINAL STENOSIS, PARKINSON’S DISEASE, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, POST-POLIO SYNDROME, HIP PAIN, KNEE PAIN, SHOULDER PAIN, AND NECK PAIN.

Our Physical Therapists are also highly trained in Fall Prevention Strategies and treatments ! If you or your loved one are experiencing unsteadiness or have been falling, a Physical Therapy evaluation is a wonderful place to start!

Many of our Physical Therapists are also Certified Dementia Specialists and hold Doctorate Degrees.
